Attributes of Custom Leathers

Kill the cow, cut him open, gather his leather.....obviously the type of cow you kill determines what type of leather you will obtain. If you use a "master's knife" (obtained as a tailor bod reward) on any cow you will receive a couple more hides than usual. If you use a "gargoyle knife" (obtained as a tailor bod reward) on any of the elemental cows you have a chance of spawning another elemental cow which when killed will randomly contain a runic sewing kit corresponding to their type. Plus if you use the master's knife on this second cow you will receive 60 hides off of it.
The difference in the type of leather is mainly confined to three things: strength required, durability and lower requirements plus random percentages of the resists (physical, fire, cold, poison and energy). The higher the leather type, the less strength needed, the better the durability and the less requirement needed.
The runic kits are really what determines how good the armor will be as they give the attributes to the garments. Obviously the ethereal runic kit is the coveted one as it gives all the highest attributes. In fact in my testing I found that an ethereal runic kit used on any leather will randomly produce 20% LRC.
So, basicly, using runic sewing kits produces random attributes such as Hit Point Increase, Hit Point Regeneration, Luck, Lower Reagent Cost, Lower Mana Cost, Mana Regeneration, Mana Increase, Night Sight, Reflect Physical Damage, Stamina Increase, Stamina Regeneration and Self Repair.
The higher the runic kit (from Spined to Ethereal) the higher the attributes you will receive.
